MindLabs: Energy & Circuits AR
While a contract game designer at Penn Entertainment (formerly HitPoint Studios), I contributed my design skills and educational technology background to MindLabs: Energy & Circuits AR.
I created the majority of the early Game Design Documentation, as well as various paper prototypes and mockups, which were eventually fully realized by the artists and engineers on the team.
At Play in the Cosmos
While working at Gear Learning, I directed, recorded, and processed hundreds of lines of dialogue for At Play in the Cosmos, an award-winning space exploration game made in partnership with W.W. Norton.
Guest Speaker for Prisma
I gave a virtual presentation on game design fundamentals to a class of young learners at Prisma. The talk kicked off a whole game-making unit for the class, and my goal was to help them get motivated about making their own games.














Article: Playing Video Games with your Child
Shortly after the pandemic hit, I had the opportunity to write an article for my colleague’s education website Upepo. I offered an overview of the benefits parents might be surprised to find when playing video games with their children (as opposed to solely having their kids play independently).
